… if we learn to live within, we infallibly awaken to this presence within us which is our more real self, a presence profound, calm, joyous and puissant of which the world is not the master— a presence which, if it is not the Lord Himself, is the radiation of the Lord within….The truth of ourselves lies within and not on the surface.
-Sri Aurobindo
WE INVITE YOU TO BE A PART OF
AUROGRAM
“A Community Living for Sustainability & Conscious Living”.
A dedicated team has been working since three decades and have established Om Shantidhama Veda Gurukula in a serene and beautiful 60 acres campus, on the banks of river Kaveri, Sangama, Mekedatu. After being introduced to Sri Aurobindo and The Mother, they established Sri Aurobindo Dhama with all infrastructure, in the same 60 acres campus.
Sri Aurobindo Dhama is a place for Gnostic living, in light of Sri Aurobindo &
The Mother. Now it is silently starting “Aurogram” – A community for sustainable and conscious living. ”Aurogram” a new venture of Sri Aurobindo Dhama welcomes serious Sadhakas, volunteers and those who are interested in Sri Aurobindo and The Mother’s philosophy and work. Aurogram will provide accommodation and opportunity for aspirants of ‘Divine Life’, to develop themselves into pioneers who will usher in the ‘New Age’ of Peace, Unity and Light. To build this into sustainable living ”Aurogram” will initially work on developing:
1) Desi Gau-Shala
2) Ghana – Bull driven traditional extraction
3) Natural Farming
4) Saraswati Vana – Garden dedicated to Ma Saraswati
5) Bee-keeping
6) Gobar Paint – Paint from cow-dung
7) Pavitra Vana
8) Skill Development Center
9) Carpentry

The above nine projects have been taken up on priority and needs special attention for sustenance & progressive development. This will provide aspirants to have a foundation for spiritual progress through work as envisioned by Sri Aurobindo & The Mother – ”Conscious Living comes easily through conscious work”.
We welcome and invite collaborators and associates to participate in this Divine Yagna to bring this to a reality.
Finally few words from Sri Aurobindo:
AUROGRAM
“The yoga we practice is not for ourselves alone, but for the Divine; its
aim is to work out the will of the Divine in the world, to effect a spiritual
transformation and to bring down a divine nature and a divine life into
the mental, vital and physical nature and life of humanity”.
